Once again I am delinquent. Yeah, sorry about that. School is just insane. I am still working 20 hours a week, and somehow I thought that wasn't going to be a big deal. I was incorrect. I could use about 10 extra hours in a day lately.
In typical Salem fashion, we have had about .5 cm of snow this year, and the entire city shut down for the whole day. Both Tye and I were off for this little dusting you can see here. It's pretty hilarious.
Well, we are gearing up for the most exciting holiday yet, it seems. Thaddy has been putting on his shoes and trying to "Go to Christmas" since before Thanksgiving. Finally, today we took him to go see the Big Guy himself. Santa also sent Thaddy an email (to me, actually) which asked him to make sure to listen to his parents if he wanted to get some legos.
(We ran into Unkie Timmy downtown today after seeing the Big Guy)

And YES, Thaddy stuck his tongue out for the Santa photo! His first Santa photo ever -- I'm so proud of the little terd.
I think it is just so funny when I come home late and Tye and Thaddy have been home alone all evening together. I always seem to find the oddest things.

This one I find particularly hilarious, because this is the first year I have put out a manger scene, and of course it is the year Thaddy is way into action figures. The sheep were playing with the Sesame Street Guys the other day, and here I am not sure what is happening, but the Baby Jesus is definitely being neglected off to the side.

Another typical find.
Tye also introduced him to Rudolph which we have watched about 15 times now, and Tye is now sick of. Also, the olde stand-by, Christmas Eve on Sesame Street (my all time Christmas fave) has been watched and over-watched.
(Candy cane face!)
