Yes.

Trying to think of an appropriate title to this post. It is difficult because currently here is what is going on in my head:

1. I am on spring break. I LOVE SPRING BREAK! What have I been doing all these years?! This is amazing.

2. My son says the craziest stuff. The other night he told the pizza guy, "That's Zoey. She's my girl." and tonight, said to Doug, "She's my little sister. Well, she's a dog though." And he does things like decide to put a pair of jammie pants on his face and then fall asleep.



3. Dog socializing. You do that? I don't know anything about dogs. This is my first dog and she had an unusually rough start at life. Tomorrow I am taking her to doggie play group and am just going to pray she doesn't lunge at/snarl at/attempt to taste any of the other dogs.

4. On a related note, due to a peculiar smell, I just Youtubed "dog anal glands". Bleah. (Don't do it.) We will be visiting the groomer tomorrow.

5. History. I am trying to write a curriculum on Salem history. Why I am doing this when I am the most ridiculous on-the-fly-planner, I will never know. But it is fun.

6. I baked bread tonight. One loaf and about 10 rolls, and another lump of dough to make pizza with this weekend. Wonderful scent of baking bread can only be overpowered by stank dog.

7. Tye is recording an album at the Coffeehouse Cafe tonight. They are set to close at the end of the month. It's so hard to believe. Tye and I met there 9 years ago (?) or something -- back when I had just started working there. I went through so many incarnations at that place and always assumed it would be around forever.

So, you see why I had trouble coming up with a name for this post!
