Once again, I am very behind on blogging. Since I am done with school and had to quit my job to student teach, I have been home with Thad for the last month. I am still looking for a job, but in the meantime I am having a blast staying home with Thaddy during the day. Tye has been working all kinds of crazy hours so alot of the time it's just Thad and Mom (and Zoey the dog). We have been spending lots of time at the Gilbert House Children's Museum, the carousel downtown and Safeway.
Thad went through a few very exciting choices of Halloween costumes this year. At the end of September (when he first started asking every day if it was Halloween yet), he proclaimed he wanted to be a ghost (or a "dost"). I was very excited about this costume idea as it was cute and cheap. But quickly, he changed his mind to Spider Man.
He stayed Spidey-obsessed for about a week, when suddenly he realized that what he really wanted to be was Buzz Lightyear.
We found this awesome costume, which the wings actually come off of, so he can wear them out on the town.
He had a great time trick-or-treating with his cousins Ricky and Abby, even if he did skip a few houses along the way. He decided he was tired of walking (WHAT a long day, rough life being 3) and Tye had to carry him for a little while.
This morning, Thad asked if it was Halloween again today. I had to disappoint him and tell him it's not coming back until next year. Oh well, only 25 days til Thanksgiving!
