I'm done with school (and there was much rejoycing. "...yaaaay.") I think I am busier now than when I was student teaching and going to class. I am working part time at OSBA, tutoring a 3rd grader twice a week, and working on creating a 3rd grade curriculum on the history of Salem for the local county historical society (nerd alert!) Actually, the curriculum is the most fun; I am such a historian, it's been really nice to be able to do some research instead of just reading blah-blah-textbooks.
Thaddy celebrated his real 3rd birthday with a pancake party at our house. He had friends from daycare in attendance along with his cousin Ash. It was a great time had by all, with multiple varieties of pancakes to choose from, lots of fresh fruit to top it, and mimosas for the mommies. And everything finished before anyone melted down. It was a great party.
